Mom and Dad

I would have to say that if your parents are anything like mine, you must be going crazy. Don't get me wrong I love them all but they are so controlling and they have to know every that is going on. My mother gets mad when I don't tell her I am in the shower at night, or one time I came home three minutes late and she freaked out on me. This past Thanksgiving my younger sister and I wanted to go to my older sister's apartment for the night she wouldn't let us go because we had to help out on Thanksgiving. I mean it was my sister's place. It's not like it's one of my friend houses. That's the kind of of things my mother does lets talk about my dad. Now I was dating a young man who happen to work for my dad who was my age. Things between him and I didn't work after five months. I broke up with him and my dad had really liked this young man and was yelling at me for choosing not to be with him anymore. My question is aren't dads supposed to happy that their daughters are no longer with their boy friends? The thing that bothered my sisters the most when I was with him was they loved my boy friend but both of them had been in relationships longer then I had been with him and my parents hated both of their boy friends. I don't get them. Another thing about my mom and dad is that they think my younger sister and I are going to be around forever when we are both going to college very soon. Every time ask to do anything they ask what about your chores? Very time I look at them in the eyes and say we aren't going to be around for ever. They really need to start doing things around the house for themselves and not expect my sister and I to be around forever and also that they aren't going to be able to control us forever.
