Today I was in class and this one kid who works really hard, has a job receives really high grades and is really nice. He ask another kid in my class
"Why he parties so much?" This kid just said
"Because I like to have fun." I decided to jump into the conversation and say " Why do you play video games?" The smart kid just shook his head and had a look on his face like he was trying to figure out this whole thing that was happening right in front of him.
My whole thing to this is that partying doesn't make you a bad person. You can go to a party to just have a good time and life doesn't all the time have to be work. I mean work is very important to me but I think what the smart kid needs to realize that you need a balance in life. You can still work hard and go to a party or two and still accomplish your goals in life. But we people need to realize you do need that balance because to much of partying and too much work can be a bad thing. (K-state perspectives website)

I don't think that partying is a bad thing but to some people it seems to be all they talk about and do. I think if you can balance doing a good job in school and partying then its o.k. but if you cant its not good.
I think that having fun is more important than working really hard. I mean, you need to work somewhat, but too much is too much. If you concentrate on working all the time, you'll always be caught up in doing things because you'll feel like you need to be working all the time. Believe me, I know a few people like this and its just sad. It basically crosses out their whole "fun" part of their life, makes them "funless" (made that up by the way), and way too serious about certain things/issues. If you have fun, laugh, and just work enough to progress yourself at a decent speed, then you chose the right way to roll. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. And I expect that's something like what Emily was getting at. Balance is essential for all of us. And work ethic varies widely from person to person. Of course, some people are gifted in certain areas, so they can play more and work less, and still get things done.
I would have to say that all of you guys said what I was getting at in my blog. So I agree with all of you. I am really happy my point got a across . You should have a balance in life so you can work and play all in one. I think over all if you are able to do that then you will be happier and be more relaxed in life. That is more import in life.
